Colonel E.H. Taylor Bundle

The ultimate introduction to one of bourbon’s most legendary collections—three iconic expressions from the father of modern whiskey.

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. wasn’t just a distiller—he was a visionary who shaped the future of American whiskey. As the architect of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and the mastermind behind Buffalo Trace Distillery, Taylor set standards that remain the gold standard today. This curated starter pack brings together three of his most celebrated expressions, each Bottled-in-Bond at 100 proof and crafted in century-old warehouses designed by the Colonel himself. From the approachable elegance of Small Batch to the singular character of Single Barrel to the bold, spicy kick of Straight Rye, this collection offers a journey through Taylor’s legendary craftsmanship. Small Batch opens with aromas of caramel, vanilla, and butterscotch, delivering a rich palate of sweet corn and baking spices with a long, warming finish of toasted oak and pepper. Single Barrel showcases lightly toasted oak and dried figs on the nose, with sweetness balanced by tobacco and dark spices on the palate, concluding in a satisfying, dry oaky finish. Straight Rye bursts with dried fruit, black pepper, and fresh dill, offering a harmonious dance of sweet and savory flavors that finishes with elegant oaky dryness. Together, they represent the full spectrum of Buffalo Trace’s finest whiskey-making traditions. Colonel E.H. Taylor Bundle
